CEO Search Qualifications


Application Process

The following items must be submitted: 

Online Application

Copies of complete and legible college transcripts clearly indicating all college units earned and degree awarded

You can submit unofficial transcripts for application purposes. Copies of diplomas are not acceptable in lieu of college transcripts. Official, sealed transcripts are required upon offer of employment. Transcripts from foreign colleges or universities must meet evaluation requirements.

A letter of interest, six pages or less, succinctly stating to what extent the candidate meets the minimum and preferred qualifications sought for this position

The letter of interest should also address:

  • Ability to undertake the essential duties and responsibilities listed in the position description.
  • Specific examples from candidate’s background and experience to demonstrate knowledge and expertise necessary for this position.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and examples of how the candidate as addressed institutional structural barrier at their current or former institution to advance diversity, equity and inclusion and student achievement.

A current resume not to exceed six pages

Professional references: Names, email addresses, business and cell phone numbers of a minimum of 10 to 12 references, including:

  • Two supervisors
  • Two administrative peers or equivalent
  • Two subordinates (including one classified/support staff member)
  • Two community members or those from external partnerships
  • Two faculty members

Preferably, references are to be from current and former institutions. References will not be contacted without the candidate's permission.

Acceptance of application materials will begin on Dec. 4, 2025. To be considered for the first screening, application documents must be submitted no later than Feb. 2, 2026. The position is open until filled.
